This valve is designed for use with natural gas only. It is not rated for LPG or other gas types unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.

The valve monitors the gas flow rate continuously. When the flow exceeds the shut-off flow rate threshold (due to a leak or abnormal usage), the valve automatically closes within ≤ 3 seconds to prevent gas accidents. It can also be closed manually at any time.
