What is the difference between IR and Catalytic Bead sensors?
Catalytic bead sensors are cost-effective but can be "poisoned" by silicones. Our Infrared (IR) sensors, such as those in the GTYQ-AT0501, are immune to poisoning, require less frequent calibration, and can operate in oxygen-deficient environments.
How often should a gas detector be calibrated?
