Explore our industrial and commercial gas safety equipment. Direct from our certified manufacturing facility.
Founded in 2003, Xinhaosi is one of the most influential and reliable brands in the gas safety industry. We provide customer-focused products and services to safeguard the safe operation of every factory, the comfort of every city, and the peace and happiness of every home. Powered by cutting-edge production systems and technology, we deliver more advanced, intuitive, and precise gas safety solutions for shaping a safer future world.

Future Ready Architecture: In hazardous operations, the margin for error is absolute zero. Gas safety systems must detect invisible volatile threats before they reach critical lower explosive limits (LEL). Our design engineering leverages advanced electronic detection technology to make unknown gas leak risks clear, visible, and manageable in real time.
Traditional sensing systems act reactively. The modern industrial sector requires intelligent, fast-response, and functional safety systems. Xinhaosi gas detectors leverage dual catalytic and infrared optical absorption sensing topologies to monitor, process, and isolate gas leaks at the point of origin, preventing catastrophic industrial and commercial gas incidents.
High-capacity production systems coupled with rigorous quality assurance standards.
Combining world-class component availability, high-speed SMT assembly, and strict ISO compliance.
China is home to the world's most robust electronics and instrumentation manufacturing ecosystem. Operating directly from our factory in Chengdu, Sichuan, Xinhaosi utilizes local, high-precision semiconductor assembly hubs, cleanroom sensor testing labs, and state-of-the-art metal extrusion plants. This geographic footprint enables us to source top-tier raw materials, implement automated surface-mount technology (SMT) on our PCBs, and calibrate sensors under controlled chamber environments at a fraction of the cost of Western OEMs.
We source and manufacture high-fidelity electrochemical, catalytic bead, and non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensors to guarantee long-term calibration stability and resistance to sensor poisoning.
Enclosures are built using heavy-duty cast aluminum or 316 stainless steel with IP66/IP67 ingress ratings, designed to operate in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.
With an in-house design engineering department, we offer OEM/ODM modifications, customizing communication protocols (RS485 Modbus, 4-20mA, HART, LoRaWAN) and custom branding.
A comprehensive overview to guide engineers and procurement specialists in selecting the optimal sensing technology.
| Sensing Technology | Target Gases | Detection Range | Expected Lifespan | Key Advantages | Limitations |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Catalytic Bead (Pellistor) | Methane, Propane, Hydrogen, Butane | 0 - 100% LEL | 3 - 5 Years | Low cost, highly linear response to most hydrocarbons, robust. | Susceptible to poisoning by silicones, sulfur, and lead. Requires oxygen. |
| Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) | Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Hydrocarbons | 0 - 100% LEL / Vol | 5 - 10 Years | Immune to sensor poisons, high accuracy, operates in anaerobic conditions. | Will not detect non-hydrocarbon gases like Hydrogen. Higher initial cost. |
| Electrochemical | Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide, H2S, Chlorine | PPM range / % Vol | 2 - 3 Years | Extremely precise for toxic levels, low power draw. | Cross-sensitivity to other gases, limited operating temperature range. |
| Semiconductor (MOS) | Combustible & Toxic Gases | PPM to % LEL | 5 - 10 Years | Extremely long life, high sensitivity to low gas concentrations. | Non-linear output, affected by ambient humidity and temperature fluctuations. |
Full-chain integration, comprehensive protection, and smart sensing systems for every scale of operation.
Safety first with precision sensing. Built to withstand hazardous, high-vibration, and corrosive environments like refineries, chemical processing sites, and maritime vessels.
Reliable gas safety monitoring for boilers, kitchens, and residential complexes, ensuring automatic alerts, shutoff mechanisms, and rapid response to leak events.
Stopping leaks at the source. Engineered to pair directly with gas leak detection panels for instantaneous shutdown during emergency situations.
Smart sensors and telemetry frameworks for public municipal pipelines, reducing utility line risks and monitoring critical valves across major city infrastructure.
Addressing the demands of global EPC contractors, plant operators, and international distributors.
For procurement officers, sourcing from overseas factories can present compliance hurdles. Xinhaosi ensures that every industrial gas detector meets rigorous safety certification targets. Our production facilities maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality systems, and our explosion-proof models comply with CNEX, ATEX, and IECEx schemes, verifying safety in combustible dust and gas atmospheres.
We work closely with local regional distributors in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and South America to fast-track regional approvals, provide localized operating languages, and supply certified calibration certificates with every shipment.
How next-generation gas telemetry solves real-world hazardous location problems.
High concentrations of hydrocarbons under high temperature and pressure conditions require rugged detectors. Our explosion-proof gas detectors monitor for fugitive emissions around pumps, storage units, and drilling platforms, operating safely in extreme marine environments.
Methane and toxic hydrogen sulfide gas build-ups in collection areas, wells, and digestion tanks pose serious risks to operators. Integrated detection systems trigger active exhaust ventilation fans and sirens when hazardous gas thresholds are exceeded.
With clean energy infrastructure growing rapidly, LNG and hydrogen fueling facilities require precise LEL gas monitoring. Using NDIR sensors ensures rapid leak identification without the risk of sensor drift under anaerobic conditions.
Developing industrial safety solutions with top international enterprises and energy operators.

Catalytic bead (pellistor) sensors operate by burning target gases on an active bead, changing its electrical resistance relative to a reference bead. They are cost-effective, linear to various hydrocarbons, and simple to operate. However, they require oxygen to function and can be "poisoned" by substances like silicones, hydrogen sulfide, and chlorine, which coat the bead catalyst and reduce its sensitivity.
NDIR sensors utilize infrared light beams at target absorption wavelengths to calculate gas concentrations. Because there is no active chemical reaction, they cannot be poisoned, have an operational lifespan of over 7-10 years, and function in inert, oxygen-free environments. The initial procurement cost is higher, and they cannot detect non-carbon gases such as Hydrogen.
Industry safety guidelines (such as EN 60079-29-2 and OSHA standards) recommend performing a bump check every 1 to 3 months and a full calibration every 6 months under normal operating conditions. More frequent calibrations are recommended if the sensors are exposed to extreme temperatures, heavy dust, moisture, high vibration, or known chemical poisons.
In explosive gas zones, equipment must hold valid explosion-proof certifications. Standard international systems include:
Our gas detector controllers feature internal output relays. When a gas leak reaches a pre-configured alarm threshold (e.g., 10% LEL), the controller closes a contact circuit, sending a 12V-24V pulse to the solenoid valve coil. This triggers a mechanical latching mechanism that shuts off the gas supply within 0.3 seconds. The valve remains safely closed until manually reset by facility operators after the leak has been resolved.
Sourcing directly from our ISO-compliant China manufacturing facility removes intermediary markups. It allows procurement teams to secure customized electrical housings, specialized communication protocols, and tailored mount accessories. Additionally, it streamlines replacement parts sourcing and facilitates direct engineering collaboration for complex SCADA integration.
