A gas cut-off valve is a critical safety component designed to manage sudden line ruptures, external thermal events, and upstream pressure surges. At Xinhaosi, we design our systems to ensure reliability when activated.
Modern industrial systems require safety components that consume minimal power. Our electromagnetic shut-off valves use a pulse-trip mechanism. A transient electrical signal triggers the shut-off, and a permanent magnet or mechanical latch holds the valve closed without constant power draw. This design keeps the coil cool and prevents thermal degradation over extended operational cycles.
To ensure tight shut-off, we use fluorocarbon (FKM) and nitrile butadiene rubbers (NBR) formulated for exposure to methane, propane, and butane. These materials maintain their sealing performance under temperature swings from -20°C to +60°C, preventing fugitive emissions.
Hazardous locations require explosion-proof equipment. Our valve solenoids are housed in cast steel or aluminum alloy enclosures certified to Ex d IIC T6 standards. This structure contains any internal spark to prevent it from igniting surrounding flammable gases.
