As governments globally transition toward stricter industrial health and safety standards (such as OSHA directives in the US, ATEX zones in Europe, and GB specifications in APAC), manual valves are being phased out. Modern gas systems require electromagnetically actuated, rapid-response normally open solenoid valves capable of shutting off gas flow in less than 0.3 seconds upon receiving an electric pulse from a gas detector panel.

A primary mechanical advantage of our 2-inch normally open valves (e.g., the XF3III and XF5III series) is their power efficiency. During typical operating conditions, the solenoid consumes zero electric power. This prevents overheating and coil deterioration. When a hazard is detected, the safety controller discharges a 24VDC pulse to close the valve instantly, locking it shut until a technician manually resets the mechanism.
At a DN50/2-inch port size, controlling pressure drop while maintaining high Cv values is critical. Our internal flow path geometry is engineered to reduce resistance, minimize turbulence, and maximize throughput. This allows boilers and industrial furnaces to operate with minimal feed pressure drop, ensuring optimal energy performance.
Industrial safety valves must operate reliably in explosive environments. Our solenoids are housed in heavy-duty explosion-proof junction boxes (rated Ex d IIC T6 Gb). This enclosure prevents internal electrical sparks from igniting surrounding flammable vapors or gases, ensuring safety in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.

A gas safety shut-off valve cannot operate in isolation. It relies on an integrated, multi-tier system of detectors, controller boxes, and gateways to provide full facility security.
High-sensitivity detectors, such as the XP4000 and GTYQ-AT0602A, constantly monitor the air for combustible or toxic gases. They send early warning signals to the central control panel before concentration levels reach critical thresholds.
The JB-TB-AT2020DX controller analyzes incoming sensor signals. If gas concentrations exceed pre-set safety levels, it triggers the interlock control box, discharging a trip voltage to the 2-inch solenoid valve to isolate the gas line.
Using the FDG-X304SE Intelligent Data Gateway and wireless pressure monitors (GT-AT0637), operators can monitor system metrics, pressure fluctuations, and valve statuses in real time via an industrial SCADA platform.
